Product Description
At Close Range: Two brothers stuck in an impoverished household; their father, a notorious professional criminal, drifts in every now and then to leave them some money, but he never stays. The boys are intrigued by their father and his criminal lifestyle, his money, and his girlfriends, and want to get closer to him. Eventually, the father agrees to plan petty heists for the older brother's gang. The father's truly evil nature is revealed when he willingly sacrifices his sons to save his own life.
Colors: Colors is a solid film, featuring superb performances by Sean Penn and Robert Duvall, as veteran/rookie cop partners attached to Crash, the LAPD's gang-suppression unit. This film represents a serious effort to throw some light on the appalling carnage of L.A. street gangs as seen through the eyes of the LAPD.
Blown Away: An escaped Irish political prisoner and explosives expert terrorizes the city of Boston. A bomb squad expert and former friend of the mad bomber has to stop his vengeful rampage before his family and the whole city are Blown Away.
The Killer Elite: A man employed by a private agency to perform international assassinations is mercilessly betrayed by his partner and best friend. After slowly and painfully rebuilding his body, almost destroyed by two bullets to the knee and elbow, he is given another assignment and goes looking for his ex-partner to even the score.
