Product Description
Festival is a bright and wonderful 3-DVD series of two-hour programs celebrating visual arts for the deaf, hearing-impaired and hearing children of all ages. It is performed in Sign Language, full sound, and with 'open' captions requiring no decoding device.

Each of the three DVDs contains four or five entertaining half-hour vignettes involving pantomime, signed puns, visual story-telling, and arts & crafts, for a total of 13 episodes.

In each of the thirteen episodes in Festival 1, deaf actress Freda Norman serves as hostess, taking children through the various attractions, including a mime, who humorously depicts the subtle yet amusing aspects of life.

There are 'Special Moments in History,' as well as brief descriptions of many famous deaf Americans. Signs and their parallel meanings in English are taught.

Deaf and hearing-impaired children share their unique perspective and experience with a hearing loss.

Festival is a fast-paced, funny, innovative and informative series of programs featuring well-known hearing and deaf performers Freda Norman, Ed Waterstreet, Gregory Koppel, Julianne Gold and Robert Daniels.
